My New Musical Fix: George Hrab

I just got back from the U.S. opening Ceremony for the International Year of Astronomy.  Musician, skeptic and blogger George Hrab performed and it was great!  I had heard of him before, but never really listened to his music or podcast.  Well, color me converted.  A man with a guitar and smart, funny lyrics about science, skepticism, and telling you who he is and what he believes (or doesn’t believe).   He also wrote and sings the theme song for the 365 Days of Astronomy Podcast.

So enjoy George Hrab’s “The Assumption”.

  1. Hello Half-Astrophysicist,

And thanks so much for the shout-out to the Maestro. We’re sending you heaps of virtual sugar from Geologic HQ. Your commentary is particularly sweet considering that you’re not only well-rooted in science, but a performer yourself.
